Kathleen D. Crane

Kate's goals are to advise and assist her clients in structuring the best estate plans for their families and/or other favored beneficiaries. At times of estate transition due to life events, Kate guides her clients through the process of trust administration.

Kate is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Ohio, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Kate is a past president of the South Bay Estate Planning Council, and lectures frequently on estate planning issues.

Kate is a current member of the Board of Trustees of Torrance Memorial Medical Center.  She served as chair of that board from 1993 until 1997.  Kate has been the chairperson of the John Gogian Family Foundation for the past 12 years.  Its mission has ben to assist developmentally disabled individuals, abused and neglected youth and vulnerable seniors.    She is a former member of the Blue Ribbon of the Los Angeles Music Center,  supporting arts education, a former member of the Board of Directors of LA Biomed at Harbor UCLA (now known as the LUNDQUIST INSTITUTE), a medical research organization, and a former member of H.E.L.P. (a non-profit information resource helping people meet aging related legal and care challenges).

Kate has been recognized as a "California Super Lawyer" by Los Angeles Magazine in each year from 2004 through 2024.  In 2008 she was also named as one of the top 50 Women (lawyers) in Southern California.
